Our Belief
Based on Titus 1:4 and Jude 3, we hold the faith that is common to all believers. According to Titus 1:4 “… the common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior” the common faith is the allotted faith equally valued and honored to all those who receive it.
The Bible
According to 2 Peter 1:21 and 2 Timothy 3:16, the Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word by word by God through the Holy Spirit. “For no prophecy was ever borne by the will of man, but men spoke from God while being borne by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21). Further, “All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16).
God
As it is shown in the scriptures, God is uniquely one (For there is one God… , 1 Timothy 2:5) and yet triune — the Father, the Son, and the Spirit (Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19).
Christ
According to the Gospel of John 1:1 and 1:14, for the accomplishing of His eternal purpose, God was incarnated to be a man by the name of Jesus Christ (“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1) and “And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality. (John 1:14).
The Work of Christ
Christ is a wonderful Person and all of His work depends upon who He is. Christ can be our Savior because He is such a wonderful Person. He is both God, the Creator, and a man, a creature. He could die as the Lamb of God for our sins because He is a man. His work of redemption is eternal in time and space because He is the eternal God. As God He can also put His divine life into us that we could fulfill His eternal purpose. Based on 1 Peter 2:24 and Ephesians 1:7, Christ bore up our sins and died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption. Based on 1 Corinthians 15:4, Christ resurrected from among the dead on the third. Further, based on Acts 2:33 and 10:36, He ascended to the right hand of God to be the Lord of all, and has been exalted to the right hand of God and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, we have both seen and heard. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36).
Salvation
Though man fell, God still loves man and would not be moved from His purpose. So God took action to save man in order to accomplish His eternal purpose. This action is God’s full salvation for man. Based on Acts 20:21, when a person repents to God, he will be returned to God. And according to John 3:3, when a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated, born again. Based on John 1:12 and Romans 12:5, those who received God, He gave authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name. And further, we who are believers, though are many are One Body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
The Spirit
Based on the later part of First Corinthians 15:45, the last-Adam became a life-giving Spirit. According to Second Corinthians 3:17, as believers in Christ, we believe that the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We also believe that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness (John 4:24).
The Church
The book of Ephesians reveals the church is the masterpiece of God’s work expressing God’s infinite wisdom and divine design. Based on Ephesians, the Church is the Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23), the new man (Ephesians 2:15), the kingdom of God and family of God (Ephesians 2:19), the dwelling place of God (Ephesians 2:22), the Bride (Ephesians 5:24-25), the Warrior (Ephesians 6:10-20).
Christ’s Return
According to John 1:1, 1:14 and Matthew 1:23, the Lord’s incarnation was His first coming and He came as a man and His name is Emmanuel. At the end of Revelation (Revelation 22:20) He says, “Yes, I come quickly.” In Paul’s writing in 1 Thessalonians 2:19, “For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at His coming? Are not even you?” Our desire would be to love the Lord supremely and our loving response would be “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”
